The University of Northern Colorado rolled out a new app earlier this month, allowing students, faculty and staff better access to widely used resources and platforms, according to the university website.

The new app, called simply My UNC App, went online last week and replaces the older UNC Mobile App. The new app is available in IOS and Android phones.

UNC’s Information Management & Technology department announced the new app about a month ago.

The university said important features of the new app are: personalized dashboards, allowing users to modify their cards for one-click, individual needs; campus maps and navigation, providing information on UNC buildings and links to additional information; student access to class schedules and grades; and a consolidated calendar with information and notifications on events and athletics.

The app also includes access for students living on campus, and information on what to do in the event of an emergency.
