Two people were killed in separate crashes on Arkansas roads Tuesday, according to preliminary reports from police.

O.B. Green, 82, of Strong died around 12:55 p.m. after the 2011 Chevrolet he was driving south on Aurelle Road near Strong ran off the road and struck a tree, flipping over several times before landing on its roof, a report from Arkansas State Police states.

A state trooper investigating the crash reported that the weather was cloudy and the road was dry at the time.

Anthony Bailey, 38, of Van Buren died around 11:04 p.m. when the 2015 Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was riding north on Arkansas 271 in Fort Smith collided with a 2015 Honda that had turned onto Jacobs Avenue ahead of him, a report from Fort Smith police states.

Bailey was thrown from the bike and suffered fatal injuries and the driver of the Honda was not hurt, the report states.

An officer investigating the wreck reported that the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time.
